Following Jesus is more than wearing a Christian t-shirt. The Bible is clear that Jesus expects us as believers “to observe all things that [He] has commanded us.” The New Testament is full of commands and expectations to obey those commands. We do this, not to gain salvation (which is a gift), but to live out the reason why God saved us. We can clearly compare the Biblical commands with our own conduct to determine if we are mature, obedient followers of Jesus. We will look at nine key practices – here are the first five.

Communion Concepts in the Book of Revelation

Communion, or the Lord’s Table, can be a dry and even boring exercise. It should not be. The concepts relating to communion – the selfless, sacrificial death of Jesus, His resurrection, and His return – are all found throughout the Book of Revelation. We find the Lamb – the title used most often for Jesus in Revelation – revealed in four major themes in Revelation.
