Lord of My MIND

God Wants ALL of ME:  My MIND (Romans 12:2)

God saves us to make us completely new. True Christianity involves giving God our body as a living sacrifice (the first lesson in this series) and allowing God to renew our MIND as well. God is to be the Lord of our thoughts as well as our bodies. He desires to prevent us from being programmed by the world, and instead to fill our minds with what is good, acceptable, and perfect. That is God’s will for us. (This is the second of a four-part series on Romans 12.)

Timeline of Truth: Joshua Makes a Treaty with the Gibeonites (Joshua 9:1-27)
Israel is approached with an offer of a treaty, but all is not what it seems.  Joshua has the opportunity to ask the Lord what they should do, but he did not.  A rash decision by Israel’s leaders led to the people not being able to do what God commanded.  God wants us to seek out His will through His word, that we may make the right decisions.
