Communion, or the Lord’s Table, can be a dry and even boring exercise. It should not be. The concepts relating to communion – the selfless, sacrificial death of Jesus, His resurrection, and His return – are all found throughout the Book of Revelation. We find the Lamb – the title used most often for Jesus in Revelation – revealed in four major themes in Revelation.

Communion (sometimes called “The Lord’s Table”) is more than a tack-on at the end of a service. Communion, as Jesus instituted, is intended to remind us regularly of several truths, and to have us measure ourselves by these truths. In this study, we will highlight 5 focuses or “looks” that Jesus intended for us to take each time we participate in communion. With these 5 looks, we offer 10 questions to ask oneself to help prompt us as we examine these focuses.
