The focal point of the week is our Morning Worship service. Here we worship God with special music, congregational singing, prayer, giving, and with the intensive study of God's life-changing Word. We began a verse-by-verse study of the book of Colossians on July 1. |

| All ages are progressing through the New Tribes Mission "Firm Foundations" curriculum, which focuses "on following God's progressive pattern of revealing His character and plan of redemption within the context of history." We are doing this to encourage a solid understanding of God's plan as revealed in the Word of God, and to allow families to study the same thing and review at home together. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Our 3-fold intent is (1) to Scripturally ground believers in their own salvation and at the same time dispel common errors, (2) to build a foundation for sanctification for believers, and (3) to enable believers to accurately and clearly share the Gospel, which is "the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes" (Rom 1:16). In Part 5 (My Part), we will be addressing the many cliches and misappropriated verses that people use in presenting the Gospel. Unbiblical "steps" such as "ask Jesus into your heart," works (baptism, Lordship salvation), and often used verses |

such as Rev 3:20 and Rom 10:13 will be studied in light of Scripture. The adults and teens study together. Parents have the option to send their kids to one of two younger classes that are studying the same thing also. |
