Not Sure What Eternity Holds?Read These 5 VERY Important Truths From the Bible:
|
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| S | - Sinful acts we commit (lying, stealing, etc.) | |
| I | - Inherited sin from our parents (they from their parents, etc. etc. - you get the idea!) | |
| N | - Negative bent toward sin - we like to sin! |
"For the wages of sin is death..."
Romans 6:23.
Death is revealed in the Bible as being separated:
| Physical separation - When you die, your body is separated from your soul | |||
| Spiritual separation - When a person is not right with God, they are "dead" in their sins, and separated from God | |||
| Eternal separation - When a person is finally judged without God, they are forever separated from God (the Lake of Fire in Revelation 21 is said to be the Second Death). | |||
|
"God showed His love for us, in that, while we were sinners, Christ [that's Jesus] died for us" Romans 5:8 God, Who is holy (without any sin) and just (He must do what is right), could not just say "that's OK - you can be right with Me and come to heaven anyway". He has to punish sin. What a great thing God did for us, when He solved our problem! He had His Son, Jesus, come to earth and die (and Jesus was separated from God the Father on the cross, remember?: "My God, my God, why have you forsaken Me?"). The Bible says that Jesus died for us, and paid for all our sins. He took our penalty! |
|
"He is not here, for He is risen, as He
said" is what the angel told the women who went to Jesus' grave! Matthew
28:6 |
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you
will be saved" Acts 16:31
God wants you to believe what He says. Consider these
things that we should believe:
| We each have a Sin Problem | ||||
| Jesus is a Special Person | ||||
| -- He was God in the flesh | ||||
| -- He was born of the virgin Mary (Matthew 1 & Luke 2) | ||||
| Jesus' Substitutionary Payment & Resurrection | ||||
Will you believe in Jesus today as your Savior, the One that God sent to die for YOU?

"For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:16-18 |
